Rowdy Roundup: Printed Pants Edition

Your new wardrobe staple is anything but boring.

Fall fashion is undeniably my favorite. The abundant layers, the season’s illustrious leather blazer and the death of shorts. The transition into cooler weather marks the reentry of my one true love: pants. Trousers, jeans, sweats, you name it. I live for any piece in my closet that functions year-round. They also double as a reason to not shave, which is a definite pro.

While denim will always have a place in your outfit ensembles, this year’s trend report calls for the opposite: it’s time to lean into bold colors and funky prints. I’ve spent a decent amount of time browsing the internet for the perfect zany pair, so here’s some picks you may want to add to your cart ASAP.

Black & White Baby

Cow print, anyone? Let’s start with a simple color combo that has range. There’s a reason black and white is so timeless. If you’re feeling a monotone look, this is where it’s at. For a model-off-duty vibe, throw on a pair like these revamped House of Sunny jeans, a tank, the aforementioned blazer, and some skinny shades.

Back to the elements

Graphics that take cues from desert landscapes are all the rage. Think Antelope Canyon, but for your body. These pants are an abstract take on that style, but if you’re looking for something super literal, this recent drop from Paloma Wool is to die for.

Punchy pastels

Minimal earth tones surely had their moment. It’s time to move over for light and bright hues that bring an exciting hue to fall. Lavender purples and matcha greens are my personal go-to colors nowadays. From warped patterns to this floral Stine Goya moment, there’s a lot of possibility within pastel.

Checkmate

Americana summer gingham and campy checkers are my personal print preference. These Holiday the Label pants have been sitting in my cart for weeks, and I’m thinking that it’s finally time to add these to my wardrobe.

Sweats are forever

I love the look of a tight pair of pants, but sometimes comfort wins. On the days where you want to look stylish, but can’t fathom the idea of buttons and zippers, try a dope print on your sweats instead. I’ve been into Boys Lie and Fiorucci.

Hope this helps you take your fall fits to the next level, can’t wait to see what everyone puts together.
