Let’s shift to a different reality

Get in losers, we’re going to Hogwarts

Reality sucks. It’s 2020 man, bad news happens every day. Today I found out that UF decided to cancel our spring break… needless to say, I wasn’t even phased at this point.

The only good thing I have going is that I’m on Draco TikTok. Whilst scrolling through Draco TikTok, I dreamed of a world where I could date this fictional bad boy that I’ve been in love with since 2004.

Then, a single TikTok changed my life — I could shift realities and leave this Trump-infested land and escape to Hogwarts to be with the boy of my dreams.

Wait, WDYM shift realities??

In a nutshell, shifting realities is basically manifesting your dream by listening to subliminals, writing affirmations, and focusing on that one desired reality. You can basically shift to any reality you want.

I know, you’re thinking I’m crazy. But any chance I can live out my dream life with Draco Malfoy, imma take it.

Before I attempted this myself, I was nervous but excited. I was afraid I would get too attached if I did end up shifting to Hogwarts. When I say I was obsessed if Harry Potter during my childhood, I mean I read the series four times and wore my $100 Hufflepuff cape everywhere I went.

After watching multiple TikToks about how to shift to this reality, I decided to try the most popular method, the raven method.

The raven method is pretty simple and usually the easiest for beginners, like myself. Here's how it works:

  1. Make sure you are pretty tired. You don’t want to be wide-awake when you shift.

  2. Write down your affirmations. This will help out with what you want to happen while in another reality.

  3. Play subliminals. Subliminals will help stimulate your senses while you’re in the process of shifting. For my experience, I looked up Harry Potter subliminals on Youtube.

  4. Lay on your back in a starfish position and count down from 100. In between each number, repeat your affirmations.

  5. Try to picture your desired reality and attempt to fall asleep.

Most importantly, try to have an open mind about shifting and have a positive mindset. If you think this is all bullshit, then you probably won’t shift.

Now, it was time to get to Hogwarts:

I queued the Harry Potter subliminals and was on my way to Hogwarts. I counted to 100 and repeated my affirmations over and over. Then I wrote out my affirmations: shift into the Hufflepuff common room; Run late to potions class with Professor Snape; Be lab partners with Draco; We don't really like each other that much, but that's OK because it'll be the typical enemies to lovers scenario.

For a while, nothing happened. But then, I felt butterflies. My chest tightened and shit felt weird, to say the least.

I fell into a deep sleep for about an hour. In that time I saw myself running down the halls of Hogwarts in my black and yellow Hufflepuff robe with three books in my arms. The halls were jam-packed with other students racing to their classes and I was surrounded by beautiful concrete pillars. I passed the golden trio (Harry, Ron, and Hermione) they were older and laughing as I passed by. They looked happy, which made my heart full.

Before I could speak to them, I woke up. Now, this could’ve just been a vivid dream, but I don’t know how to explain the strange feeling in my chest.

I would like to think I can shift to the wizarding world of Harry Potter, but I didn’t get quite reach my goal of dating Draco Malfoy.
