Dear Rowdy,
These past four years together have been everything I’ve ever wanted. Rowdy was a place for me to express my passion for art, fashion, and culture. I honestly don’t think I would be the same person today without Rowdy. I started at Rowdy Magazine as a little freshman who doubted her own abilities, and now I’m a senior who has become the type of person I looked up to.
The people I met along the way made the experience even dearer to my heart. I have met some of the most talented and wonderful people who I will never forget. Thank you to Ana Escalante for always believing in me and being my partner in crime. Thank you to Andrea Wilson for seeing my potential. Thank you to all my designers. The magazine would literally not be here without y’all. Thank you to all the people I have had the chance to work with.

It’s so crazy to consider a life without Rowdy because it was such an integral part of my college experience. It was just a part of my routine. I will miss the countless hours in the gallery setting up for launch parties or going around campus in jumpsuits selling magazines. So many memories that I will cherish forever. With six volumes under my belt, I think it’s time for me to say goodbye. But don’t be sad! Rowdy will never not be a part of me, and I will still be around.
So instead of goodbye, I’ll see you later!
And I’ll love you forever,
Xoxo,
Valerie Muzondi
