Simone Liang is a writer and dreamer from a funky Florida beach town called Sarasota. Sometimes she remembers that she studies Political Science at the University of Florida.

She's particularly interested in the ways in which social media shapes the perception of self and others, as well as how vulnerability can still be embraced in a world that demands invincibility.

Simone loves to explore new spaces in old places, skateboard, and play guitar whenever she has the time. Her two most favorite things to do are listening to The Strokes and going on last-minute road trips . . . preferably at the same time. At any given moment, she's probably tucked away writing poetry or a play that she's convinced will someday become a masterpiece.
