Anushka Dakshit is Rowdy's Print Editorial Director. She began working with Rowdy in the summer of 2020 and has been hooked ever since, working as a staff writer and later copy editor.
In her free time she likes to watch really long films, listen to old Bollywood, and learn about/obsess over other writers’ “processes” whenever she feels like she has no idea what she’s doing (which is often).
She wants to use her writing to discuss the nuances of femininity and culture and is passionate about social justice, being a brown woman, and words that bring her catharsis. Along with Rowdy, she has been published in Local Wolves Magazine and is also a Features Writer and Editor at Her Campus UFL.
As someone wildly passionate yet insanely indecisive, she wants to be either a filmmaker or film/music journalist that lives in New York City (just like everyone else ever tsk tsk). As long as she’s writing forever, she’s happy <33.
